Dear STARS Families, Students, and Community,

Welcome to Spectrum Academy STARS! I’m so glad you’ve found your way to our school community—a place where every student is celebrated for exactly who they are, and where our mission is to support each learner in growing with confidence in an environment built on care, connection, and respect.

As principal, I have the incredible privilege of watching our students grow every day—not only in their academics, but in their communication, independence, self-regulation, and sense of belonging. We know that learning doesn't look the same for every student, and at STARS, it doesn’t have to. Our team is passionate about building individualized programs that support the whole child. Whether that’s learning functional life skills like cooking and cleaning, developing communication through AAC devices, navigating social interactions, or working through big emotions with sensory tools and behavior supports—our students are building real-world skills that empower them in school and beyond.

Our school is built on strong relationships—with students, families, and staff. We believe that collaboration with families is essential, and we value your voice and insights as we work together to build meaningful, personalized learning experiences. Every success, no matter how big or small, is celebrated here because we know how hard our students are working to grow.
