Title IX & Non-Discrimination

Title IX Support & Resources

What is Title IX?

Title IX is a federal civil rights law that prohibits discrimination based on sex in educational programs and activities that receive federal funding, including Spectrum Academy District. It ensures that all students, regardless of sex, have equal access to education, free from discrimination, in a safe and supportive environment. Title IX addresses various issues, including sexual harassment, sex discrimination, and protections for pregnant and parenting students, aiming to create equitable opportunities for all individuals in schools.
